The Word For You

But let me say this loud and clear: God is all you need! God is all you need to have all your needs met. God is not in need; His mission is to meet your needs.

After 30 years of quality walk with God, I can boldly say, and you better believe me, that God is all you need to have all your needs met. By my connection to God, all that I ever need is supernaturally handed down to me.

You are sent to be a blessing to the world, not to yourself and family alone. You are not a blessing until you start flowing out to others and meeting the needs of the world. So, enough of all this, "God bless me, God bless me" prayers. The blessing God has in store for you is beyond that. You are to be blessed to the point of you influencing your world. I'm talking about you becoming a blessing to the families of the earth. You are sent after the order of Father Abraham and king David, to serve your generation. But until you connect with God, you can't attain to this height.

Seeking God in truth is what makes the journey of life swift and sweet. When you make God first, you have committed Him to making you first. No wonder Jesus said, "Seek ye first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and every other thing shall be added unto you" (Matt. 6:33).

The pursuit of the heart of God is God's secret card for having all your needs met. And I believe you know that winning God's heart is the number one task of every believer. When you succeed in winning His heart, like king David, you can no longer lose ground in your journey in life.

The more you open up to God, the greater your destiny becomes. Until you connect with God, the journey of life is never great. It is your connection with the great God that makes the journey of life great.

I say this again: God is all you need to have all your needs met; and faith is all it takes to get through to God. An understanding of the word (of God) is all that faith requires to come alive in you.

So, come along as I espouse you to this all-sufficient God!

Empowerment is a necessary requirement for everyone that desires to fulfil his mission on earth (Lk. 24:49). The church is on a mission to the world designed by God to be the solution centre for societies and nations. But for us to fulfil our mission on earth, we must be empowered by God. Therefore, you need empowerment for accomplishment because it is the power of God that gives value to the principles of scriptures and the principal source of that empowerment is the Holy Ghost. That is why the Bible says, You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you… (Acts 1:8).

The Holy Ghost is the fountain of our empowerment. The end time church is ordained for glory and beauty. It is ordained to be the envy of the world. God's agenda for the end time church places a lot of responsibilities on the shoulders of the saints and you need to understand the price that goes along with it. This understanding will help you in fulfilling your portion of this great plan. Therefore, it takes divine power to actualize divine plan.

God's enviable agenda for the end time church is that it must position herself for divine empowerment to actualize God's glorious plan.

Paul the Apostle speaking in 1 Corinthians 16:9 said, For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. There is no rise in the kingdom that will not attract enemies. But, power is the only language that the enemy respects.

The Bible says, surely they shall gather together but not by me, and all they that gather together against you are programmed to fall for your sake (Isa. 54:15). This can only be when you carry the appropriate power that will result in their failing. Therefore, it is your responsibility to tarry until you are endued with power because until you are endued with power, you cannot subdue the enemy.

Empowerment, therefore, is a compulsory course for the end time church. Any child of God that is not adequately empowered cannot fulfil his destiny; because every time a great door and effectual is opened, there are many adversaries to attend unto it. There is no divine mission that has a future without divine unction. You must place value on the power of the Holy Ghost because empowerment is for every child of God.

Empowerment is mandatory for your mission on earth to be accomplished; and it is mandatory for the church of Christ to fulfil her mission. Everyone therefore, that desires to fulfil his destiny in a grand style requires divine empowerment. You need to be practically and consciously empowered. You must go after it to actualize it and not to assume it. Empowerment is very fundamental to accomplishment. Christ, though God, could not do anything until He was empowered.

However, you need to position yourself for continuous re-anointing, in order for your anointing to match the opposition that is standing on your way. Because the enemy will always come in form of a flood, and you need a flood order of anointing to level it.

What is the gateway to empowerment?

Empowerment is limited to the thirsty. How thirsty you are for God's power is what determines your access to His empowerment. A genuine thirst is a covenant qualifier for divine empowerment. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink (Jhn. 7:37).

Psalm 63:1-3 talks of a thirsty soul and longing flesh; O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

This simply implies that you must fast your way to power, you must couple your desire, crave and thirst with fasting for divine empowerment. God has a plan to fulfil his mandate, but you have a responsibility for that power to be granted to you.

A major reason for the divine empowerment is to preach the gospel and convert souls.

The Bible says in Acts 1:8, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. The disciples were empowered to witness. You are also empowered primarily to be a witness, to share and show the effect of the good news in your life. Everyone that is entitled to the power of the Holy Spirit is sent to be a witness. The sharing of the Gospel, therefore, is the secret source of empowerment.

In Luke 10, the 70 Apostles were continuously re-empowered. As a witness of Christ, you need to be continuously re-empowered for re-anointing in order to stay fresh. You are empowered to show the way out, to show the way forward by teaching the people and you are empowered to show the way to the top.

Every time you reach out to the lost, you qualify for more of God's power. You can reach out to the lost by investing on materials you put in their hands as a spiritual base. You can buy less voluminous books published by the church and distribute to the people you are preaching to, pay their fares to and fro church, buy audio and video tapes for them.

The more you share and show the Gospel to the world, the greater your access to continuous empowerment. If you are not empowered, you cannot partake of the blessings of the kingdom because it is empowerment that makes you a partaker of the benefits and the virtues of the kingdom. You will surely be empowered in Jesus name

Empowerment For Financial

Advancement

The Bible says, The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it (Prov. 10:22). God's prosperity is a function of His blessings. It is not the struggles of a man that maketh rich, but the blessings of the Lord. Skills do not guarantee prosperity. That you are changing profession per day does not guarantee your financial destiny because there is no profession in the world that does not have a register of failures. Therefore, there is no professional guarantee for prosperity nor security in any profession. There is only security in walking in the light.

It is only God that empowers for prosperity and wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18 says, But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

There are two vital forces that plug you into the power source that connects you to financial advancement. These are LOVE and JOY.

The Force of Love

Love is one of the fundamental forces that connects you to the power point for financial advancement. In 1 Kings 3:3-4, the Bible says, And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.

The love of God is the covenant and sure foundation for financial empowerment. The love question must be answered before you can be lunched into that realm of financial empowerment for continuous advancement.

Thrice, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Do you really love me?” And he replied, “I love you.” You can't have a true heart for God and not make a mark on the earth. His prosperity agenda belong to His lovers not lovers of money. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Cor. 2:9).

When you love God, He will manifest and show Himself in your finances (Jn. 14:21). Your love is proved by keeping His commandment. The only way to prove the sincerity of your love for God is the giving grace, not singing or preaching it.

If you are in love, giving becomes a delight. God's love is a giving love. God so loved the world and He gave His best to the world. Giving is a commandment that defines your love for God.

There is a power beyond your power that works in you to bring you out of poverty (2 Cor. 18:1-3). It is the power element that is involved in your experiencing an unending delightsome giving life. Giving should be your way of life a lifestyle, not a religious practice. The Holy Ghost is the stimulant and a catalyst of the love of God. When the Holy Ghost overwhelms you, the love of God overflows your heart. The love of God is unleashed and exploded within you. He connects you to God on an addiction frequency. You become hooked inseparably to God and then you just find everything going on well.

Therefore, if you want to experience empowerment for financial advancement, you require empowerment of love by the Holy Ghost. When He robs on you, you don't feel it, but it becomes an issue of joy.

Prosperity is not in titles and callings, but in giving willingly, joyfully and heartily. It requires a spiritual empowerment. Because after the fall, man became a selfish creature; and it takes the power of God to break through it. You can't be a consistent giver and a delightsome keeper of the covenant except by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. It is not by power nor by might, but by the Spirit of God. The force of love enhances your giving capacity and makes it acceptable to God. Until the ground receives your seed, there is no future of harvest. Those who worship God in love and truth are never limited in their liftings.

The Power of Joy

While love enhances your giving capacity and makes it acceptable to God, joy qualifies you for harvest. Joy is the covenant sickle of harvest in the field of prosperity. It is what you engage in reaping your harvest. There are many lovers of God who don't have much harvest to show because they don't hold joy, which is the sickle of harvest in their hearts. When joy withers away, your harvest perishes with it (Joel 1:11-12).

What you do with your hand, you reap with your mouth, because it is the sacrifice of praise that brings home your harvest. Proverbs 12:14 says, A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him. Is any merry? Let him sing (Jms. 5:13). Your song becomes a noise except if it is coming from a merry heart. Joy is the foundation of the songs of praise. The Holy Spirit is the oil of joy, joy unspeakable full of glory. He is the Spirit of gladness. When there is eruption of joy springing forth out of your lips, you become a candidate for endless harvest.

The combination of LOVE and JOY establishes your place in supernatural prosperity, making you a wonder in your days. When there is love, you will give cheerfully, joyfully and heartily and when there is joy, you will do it praising God, and as you are praising Him, the earth is yielding her increases and God is blessing you.

The reason why God blesses you is to make you a blessing to others. When you stop being a blessing, God's blessing stops flowing. But your blessings shall be ceaseless in the name of Jesus!

                                  (  SUBJECT: SPIRITUAL GIFTS Part 3  )

                                         ( TEXT: 1 COR. 12: 1 ; 7 - 12 )

      ( How God uses me and how he wants to and can use you)

                        TURN IN YOUR BIBLES TO ( 1 COR. 12: 1; 7 - 12 )

   The Word of God says in ( verse 1 ).   Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

   Go on down with me to ( verses 7-12 ) 7. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to ( every man ) to profit withal, 8. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom: to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of Spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11. But ALL these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

   In this part of the Devotion, on Spiritual Gifts, I pray that you will have an opened mind and heart. This Word is very important for today and for ( ALL ) who are and who claim to be Christians. So, I ask all that will, to pray and ask the Lord to give you understanding as you read and study this Word from him as I type what he gives me. Though this is not the end of ( THE SPIRITUAL GIFTS DEVOTION ) as I thought it would be, I cannot say when this will end. God has spoken to me and told me that he will continue this. There is a lot that needs to be said and explained before I can really show you or tell you how you to can and will be used in a gift or gifts if you will just obey this Word he is speaking through me for you. (  Remember the Word says in ( 1 Samuel 15:22 ) To obey is better than sacrifice. )

   I pray by now, that you have studied the Scriptures above that I have given you in the last two Devotions. The Nine Spiritual Gifts that I have been teaching on are a must for today. You may say, Brother Cole, why do you say this ? I will explain the best I can by the help of God. You see, as I have mentioned before, many have been hurt, confused, and frustrated by false prophecies or let me also say, false prophets. Much has been told that would happen, but it never has. Much has been told about things that wouldn't happen, but it did. In other words, more has been fake for several years now, than has been real. This has not only hurt those that are real today, that God uses in the gifts, but it has brought a spirit of doubt in the Churches. The Word of God isn't even received in the hearts of the people, with the fear of God anymore, like it once was.

   Used to, when people came to Church, they came ready for the Word of God. Their worship was so involved with God, that there wasn't hardly anything that could stop them from praising and worshiping him. You hardly ever had to question anything that happened because the people, not just the Pastors, sought the Face of God with much desire for him. They actually would have laid down their lives for him. When the anointing arose, in the people, it was very real. Even the sinners, that didn't serve God, would break down and cry and give their lives to him. I'm not saying all did, but most did.

   I can remember a time, when a certain Church was having service, that the Power of God was so strong. Because of real worship, and because the people really prayed and fasted, that during this service at this Church, the fire department was called out to the Church by local neighbors. They stated that the roof of the Church was on fire and there were people inside. When the fire department got there. with amazement, there did seem to be fire on the roof, but the roof was not burning. The firemen and local neighbors went into the Church to warn the people. When they got inside, they found the people slain out in the spirit and shouting under the power of God. They were weeping and praying. Yes, they did see fire on the roof, but it was the Fire of God. It was also a Sign from God, to all who lived around that little old country Church. Truly, there was a sign, given by God, to prove he was with this Church, and the people in it were real. The Word of God said, There would be Signs and Wonders. ( Acts 2:19 ).Now, this was during the time that the Day of Pentecost was fully come, and the ( Holy Ghost ) had filled all the house, and all in it, began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

    This was also the prophecy that came from ( Joel 2:28 ) Where it was prophesied that, God would pour out his Spirit upon ( ALL ) flesh; and your sons and your daughters ( SHALL ) prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: ( 29.) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit. ( 30.) And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. Most of what you are seeing today, as I said, is not real nor is it God. It is another scripture being fulfilled in ( Matthew 24:24 ). For there ( shall ) arise false Christs, and false prophets, and ( shall ) shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that , ( If )it were possible, they ( shall ) deceive the very elect. Now if it were possible to deceive the very elect, which are the people that pray, fast and study God's Word, that if they aren't careful, they can be deceived by false prophets. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is very scary and very dangerous.

   What has happened to the True, God Fearing, Christians ? What ever happened to God running the Church instead of man ? Where is the Hardcore Word that brought conviction ? Not only can a person, that is setting on a fence, and not knowing which side to get off on and serve God, set in a Church and never feel convicted, but those who aren't even wanting to serve God, come to Church and feel right at home without conviction entering their hearts! The True Worship has went out the windows of the Churches and now it's a show to entertain man. There is competition in singing, preaching, and now people see who can out dress the other. Ministers preach what will keep the people coming and giving in the offerings, instead of saying, God I don't care if they all quit, I am going to preach the truth, even if they take my life for it ! God is sick of Religious Spirits and so am I. It's time to come back to God, or get out of the way of God, and let real men or women prove to you the Word still works, and God will use whomsoever he will.

   The game is over ! Setting back in a comfortable seat, and not even having the minds on God, while in his House of Worship, is very wrong and dangerous. Having half a heart for God isn't going to work. Do you think, while JESUS CHRIST was on the cross, he had a heart for only those he knew Loved him ? ( NO ) !!! He said," Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!" He wasn't talking about the True Christians, he was talking about those who resisted him, just like they are doing to this day. God Loves them, but they must Love him back, Repent ( meaning, turn away from the old ways of man, that makes the flesh feel good, and get back to the True ways of Holiness ). Now when I say Holiness, I'm not talking about the outward man nor his appearance. I am talking about the Heart of man. Jesus ( NEVER ) judged a person ,nor pushed them away, because of how they were dressed or how they looked. Now, I do believe that a True Christian, will have enough of the Heart of God, that they will have conviction in them, that will lead them on how to dress in a Godly way.

   I don't believe, a Child of God, needs to be out in public half naked. Wearing a bathing suit that leaves nothing hardly unseen. But, a person wearing decent apparel ,whether it is a woman wearing pants, a little makeup or cutting her hair in a decent way, is not a sin and it is not for us to judge them. I don't think a woman should cut her hair to where it looks like a man's haircut, but at the same time I don't think a man needs to have his hair long like a woman. All True Convictions are in the hands of God not us ! Our focus should and needs to be on, ( LOVING EVERYBODY ), ( FORGIVING EVERYBODY ), ( AND ASKING EVERYBODY TO FORGIVE US, IF WE EVEN THINK WE MAY HAVE HURT THEM IN ANY WAY, FOR ANY REASON ) ! Let's leave the judgments up to God and do only what Jesus would do. That is, to do all I just mentioned above. If you or I or anybody else is wrong, then let God deal with their hearts. If they really Love him, then they will obey him, and so will we ! I could really go into some things about all of this that would rebuke and correct a lot of people, but I will stick with this devotion on, ( The Gifts of the Spirit ). Those things I said, needed to be said, in order to make the gifts work in our lives.

   Now, let me get to the point of my subject concerning, The Nine Spiritual Gifts. As I have stated, this is not wanted by most Churches, and most people don't even agree with this. A lot of people think that, The Nine Gifts, were only used in the days of Jesus and the Apostles and that was when they ended. ( NOT TRUE )! To say this, is to say, Jesus changes and so does his Word. ( The Bible states, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever ). ( Hebrews 13: 8 ). Now my question to you is, Who is the Word ? Let me answer that, with the Word. ( St. John 1:1 ) Plainly tells us who the Word was and is. It reads, ( In the BEGINNING was ) the Word, and the Word was with God, and the WORD WAS GOD. ) Now go on down to verse ( 14 ). Read it slowly, it reads like this, listen now ( And the WORD WAS MADE FLESH ), and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth. ( NOW IF YOU WILL, GO TO THE BOOK OF ( GENESIS 1:1 ) and read ). You will find, where the beginning started. It reads like this, ( IN THE BEGINNING ( GOD ) CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH. Now, you just read in JOHN and in GENESIS, that GOD AND JESUS, WAS, AND IS, ONE ! You read where, the Word was made Flesh, the Word was God in the Beginning that created all things. Now it became flesh, which was JESUS, in the book of JOHN. ( So, JESUS WAS, AND STILL IS, GOD )!

   Now, Jesus went to the cross, right ? He died, right ? But, It wasn't the part of him that was God that died, GOD NEVER DIED, JESUS DID. What made Jesus the Son of God, ( WAS THE FLESH ), not the SPIRIT. The flesh, which is what made him the son, is what died. He killed the flesh. If God died, then we would not even exist nor would this world. Now, I hope you have already read, where the Word stated, in ( John 14:16 ) ( And I will pray the Father, and he SHALL give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; ). This came to past, on the Day of Pentecost, in the upper room, when they were ALL filled with the ( HOLY GHOST ), after the flesh of God died on the cross. Here is where he fulfilled the Promise, of the coming, of the Comforter. But, it never stopped there. Peter stood up, after hearing others mocking them saying, These men are full of new wine. Peter said, with a loud voice, these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But THIS IS THAT which was spoken by the Prophet Joel, that this shall come to past in the LAST DAYS saith GOD ! ( Acts 2:14 - 17 )

   My friends, if you have God, you have the Holy Ghost, that Comforter he promised. WE ARE STILL IN THE LAST DAYS, AND GOD IS STILL GIVING MEN, WOMEN, and CHILDREN the HOLY GHOST, WHICH IS THE COMFORTER !!! Don't stop there, seek after the ( GIFT ) of the ( HOLY GHOST ). Notice, the Bible says, in ( Acts 2:38 ) the ( GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST ). Not the Holy Ghost !!! You receive the Holy Ghost when you receive God, because ( HE IS THE HOLY GHOST )! He wants you to receive the Gift that he offers you, which is the ( GIFT OF TONGUES ). This is a Spiritual Tongue, or let me say Language, that you need, and can have, to pray to God within the Spirit. It is also, used in the Church, at times. An interpreter, that God has chosen to be able to interpret Spiritual Tongues, can tell the people what is being said in this language from and to God. I will Later on, do a devotion on this, and give you more details on what this really means and why you need it.

   I will close this segment of the Devotion on, ( THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT ). You will continue to receive these as long as you want them. Everybody needs these devotions.
